Community Survey on Measurement Needs and Applications for the NEOMI SEEP Mission Idea

Welcome and introduction

We invite members of the scientific, operational, and applied user communities to provide feedback on observational needs, data gaps, and priority applications relevant to the NEOMI SEEP mission idea.

Your input will help identify key science questions, define measurement requirements, and assess the potential impact of the mission for both research and operational use.

About the NEOMI SEEP project

The New Earth Observation Mission Idea (NEOMI) / Study of Energetic Particle Precipitation (SEEP) is a project supported by ESA (Contract No. 4000150446/26/NL/FFi).

The mission idea aims to improve our understanding of how energetic particle precipitation (EPP) influences atmospheric and near-Earth space processes by using low or very low (below 400 km altitude) Earth orbit satellite(s).

The project brings together an interdisciplinary community spanning magnetospheric physics, atmospheric science, and space weather to ensure the mission addresses key scientific and societal needs.
